The smartphone market in the country saw a major change in the last few weeks after Redmi Note 7 Pro arrived. Xiaomi has again been able to redefine the budget flagship lineup.
The under 15,000 category is now the most competitive space in the market.
Loaded by stalwarts from Xiaomi, Realme, Asus, and Honor, there are some great budget flagships available in the range backed by some great features including camera, performance, battery and more.

Redmi Note 7 Pro
Starting the list with the current newsmaker, the Redmi Note 7 Pro tops the list of the current best phones under 15,000 rupees. Redmi Note 7 Pro sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ dot notch display running on Snapdragon 675 processor and MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie and a massive 4,000mAh battery supporting fast charge.

Samsung Galaxy M30
Galaxy M30 is the only smartphone to come with triple cameras at under 15,000 rupees in India. Samsung Galaxy M30sports a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ Infinity-U display running on Samsung’s own in-house Exynos 7904 SoC octa-core chip. Xiaomi Mi A2
The second generation Xiaomi Mi A series smartphone is now available at a permanently discounted price of Rs 11,999 for the base variant. Launched at a starting price of Rs 16,999 in August, Mi A2 now seems like a more reasonable option. The biggest advantage is its software and UI. The smartphone is an Android One device, directly backed by Google when it comes to security patches and version upgrades.

Honor 8X
The Honor 7X successor was unveiled back in October last year. The smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ with a notch on top running on an octa-core Kirin 710 12 nm processor. The first Realme U series smartphone from last year remains a great option under 15,000 rupees. A selfie-focused smartphone, Realme U1 currently retails starting at Rs 9,999. The smartphone features an AI-powered 25MP Sony IMX 576 sensor. On top, the smartphone runs on MediaTek Helio P70 chip, the latest 12 nm chip. Realme U1 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Color OS 5.2. The Android Pie-based Color OS 6.0 update will arrive by June.
The company has discounted the smartphone recently, and Realme U1 is now available starting at Rs 9,999. It also launched a new variant with 64GB storage and 3GB RAM at Rs 10,999.
